Lenticels in the Lens Photography Contest
Submit your digital photos of lenticels, which are pore-like structures present on the surfaces of plants, notably on tree bark (see below for more information), to email@example.com for a chance to win a field guide to trees and to have your work featured on our website and on the bulletin board in the Children's Garden. Awards will be given in three categories:
Youth (ages 12 and under)
Teens (ages 13-18)
Adults (ages 19 and up)
Photos must be received by March 20, 2010. Limit 3 submissions per photographer. Include the photographer's name, age (or age category), and the date and location of each photograph in the text of the e-mail. Other details, such as the tree type or camera specifications, are encouraged but not required.
